Aspire 349

I have lived here for a year now, I haven’t had any problems. The amenities are really nice and having 24/7 access for the gym is convenient. The maintenance team is really good, James always has a Fantastic attitude and is like a grandpa to most of us. The front office staff are pretty awesome as-well. Laney is always on top of her job and tries to look out for everyone here, Kayla, Sophie; Angela are always happy to help and Skyler will always greet you with a nice smile. Overall I’d give Aspire a 10/10

Future Residents, pay attention… It’s cheaper than everywhere else for a reason. I’m just tryna prepare you… I mean, does pest control even show up? How about valet? I’m paying for it, and they take my trash… Monthly? Bi-Weekly? Not sure, but it’s certainly not consistent with the schedule they gave me. Adding to that, I was given an “as is” apartment with furniture already in it, though that was not what I agreed to. Place was so trashed when I got there that I had to put in enough maintenance requests to surprise the maintenance guys. One of them literally asked me what had happened to the place. 😂 My room still smells like dog piss if I don’t use air fresheners and leave my fans going 24/7. EDIT: (9/14/23) The fire alarms went off across all buildings at 6:00am. No fire department showed up, cannot contact the office, and seemingly no fire. In fact, there are 3 different numbers for the office throughout the website, but none of them go to an emergency/after-hours contact number. Is that even legal? Still have spiders in front of my door too. 2 requests later. But they still made sure to send me my rent reminder at 8:00am. 😎 EDIT : (10/25/23) Regardless of their comment, I think I would’ve heard the fire trucks siren on the complex when the alarm went off. I mean I stood out there for at least 10 minutes with some of my neighbors. And was I really gonna stop to go find my resident handbook or sift through emails in a potential fire? I didn’t even know what building the “fire” was in, hence why I was trying to call and confirm that there even was one. And no, there is/was not an emergency number in the portal. 😂 (There was not a fire, I just got a free alarm clock that morning ☺️) Anyway, my car was broken into last night. Hooray! So much for the “gated” community. Given, it could’ve also been someone living in the complex. (Not that the gate has ever been closed in the last 2-3 months) More likely than not, it was a resident. Especially considering how many non-students and 30-60 years olds still live here. Called to ask if I can see a surveillance video, or that they would at least check them, and they said I would HAVE to file a police report to do so. I mean, I don’t keep anything of value in my car for this exact reason, and there was no damage, so what are the police gonna do? (BTW my car locks on its own, despite my locking it every time I get out) I just wanna make sure it’s not my own neighbors doing this. Oh, and the number of spiders surrounding every door on my floor has been consistently going up, despite additional requests being put in. I named the biggest one Harold. Might as well throw in the fact that the trash compactor is next to my building, HOLY SH*T does that thing pile up sometimes. I smell it almost every morning I walk out the door.

Horrible tenant practices and poor customer service. This is my daughter’s second year staying at Aspire 349 while attending college. At the beginning of the new semester my daughter’s parking lot access key stopped working and she went to the office to get a new parking access key. At that time, no one in the Aspire 349 office told her that she needs a new sticker for her window too. You would think this would be a common practice for the Aspire 349 office personnel to provide a new sticker too. This morning her car was towed because she had the “old” sticker in her car window NOT the “new” one. It’s a private gated parking lot who would randomly park there if they weren’t a tenant. Aspire 349 tows cars even when there is evidence “the old parking sticker in the window” instead of putting first warning note on the windshield to inform the tenant to get a new sticker. My daughter visited the Aspire 349 office (and I called the Aspire 349 manager on-duty) and they said it’s NOT their problem it’s our problem. The Aspire 349 manager on-duty told me that they send multiple reminder emails about getting a new sticker. I just spoke with my daughter and she checked her emails and didn’t find any such email from Aspire 349.

Since they tried to delete my review the first time i will just keep posting every time they try and delete it:))) I 100% do not recommend living at Aspire 349. Let’s start off with the not so bad things at this apartment complex….for starters they promise 24 hour coffee in the clubhouse which is not true. I tried to get coffee almost everyday and it never worked, only gave me hot water. The pool turns green every summer because they don’t know how to keep up with it. I have lived here for two years now and asked multiple times for my dishwasher to be fixed and it was never done. Now let’s talk about the trash valet. Here at aspire they charge you $10 extra on your rent for someone to come get your trash by your door. I RARELY got my trash taken from my door and then would get notes on my door telling me i’d be fined if there was more than two bags out there. I guess some how that’s the residents fault that they can’t get our trash? Sounds lazy to me but oh well. Now let’s talk about the roach problem. One night me and my boyfriend walked to the club house and I have never seen more roaches in my entire life. I’m talking like 100 roaches just in that area, imagine the rest of the complex…gross. Also not to mention the rats and possums i saw going under the stairs every night. Now it gets even better!! There was MOLD growing in my apartment for probably the last month I was living there and they did absolutely nothing about it except wipe it off and then tell us it was gone. Needless to say I was sick for a month straight because they’re lazy and don’t care about their residents. This place is money hungry and that’s it. As I go to turn in my keys they tell me I now owe them $600 dollars in damages at my apartment. I was told what the damages were but I can promise you it is not $600 worth and half the things they said were damaged weren’t so there’s that. Do not live at this joke of an apartment complex. I’m extremely impressed with Aspire 349! The first impression staff on the phone is fantastic. Very friendly and knowledgeable with just the right amount of a sales pitch! I’m a former New Yorker and my in-person visit was beyond any expectations I had imagined. The property is lovely and beautifully designed with modern furnishings that look brand new. All the buildings are impeccable clean. The pool is grand with generous hours for residents. I looked at a 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment and it was immaculate and roomy. I applied and was approved same day, and am now reading my potential lease and getting ready to sign and pay for my exciting new life! I have to give a special recognition to Angela and to Kayla who were so perfect for their jobs and who I already feel like friends who will take care of whatever I need. I can’t wait for the August move-in date to get here so I can live in this paradise! THANK YOU FOR SUCH A CLEAN PLACE TO LIVE AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE!

Take it from the people who actually had to experience living here, and not these 5 star reviews from people who toured a model apartment. This place is awful. The staff does not care about the residents whatsoever. The state of this apartment complex is absolutely foul. The bugs, trash, stains, food, dog poop, etc is unacceptable. We had fruit fly infestations every summer my roommate and I lived here (pictures of our fridge for reference). When we told them about it last summer they told us they couldn't do anything about it. We were literally catching hundreds of fruit flies in our homemade traps every single week. It was horrible and they did not care. We never left trash or food out but they were impossible to get rid of because of how disgusting our building was. Not to mention this complex is not safe at all. The gates never work and are always open, but even if they are closed it doesn't matter you can literally just push them open or go in one of the other walk in gates that are open 24/7. My roommate and I were locked out once and we called the on-call number at least 8 times with no answer. It was a Saturday night so we would have been locked out for over 24 hours if it wasn't for our neighbor who was able to break into our apartment for us with a literal credit card. That's how easy it is to get into these apartments! unacceptable conditions and bad staff and management. I could probably write a 10 page essay with the rest of my complaints about this complex. Do not live here.
